Scott Oliver has just received the disappointing news that Kris Summers is leaving the club. In an email to Scott Kris says: I’ve decided to make the move mate, enjoyed my time at Hebburn. It has been fantastic and mainly down to you. You gave me my chance in the northern league and I’ve developed over the years. Didn’t really want it to end this way but that’s football. Time for a new and fresh challenge for me. I will certainly miss you and the lads but I will keep in touch.”
Scott Oliver has commented:
“I’m gutted Kris has decided to leave the club; he has played over 150 games for Hebburn and his performances and attitude were first class. I want to thank Kris for his loyalty and sticking by the club during difficult times last season.”
Good luck Kris.
From the Committee:
“Kris will be sadly missed at the club. He has been a fixture for four seasons and he is one of the nicest and popular young men you could wish to meet. He has maintained the highest standards of integrity, attitude, manners, sportsmanship and most importantly friendship in his time with the club. We will miss him but he will always be welcome at Hebburn Town,
We wish him all the very best at his new club Billingham Town.”
